Dyfference Makers is a nonprofit organization that provides education tools to parents to succeed with teaching dyslexic students to read and write as well as provide a support system for parents.

Dyfference Makers completed a six month coaching program with D2 Branding to create the concept for their non profit, become an official 501c3 organization, come up with a fundraising model, revenue model and online education platform for students struggling with reading and writing.

The Dyfference Makers logo was meant to be fun and engaging for parents and children alike. Bright colors, a fun font and the use of a heart shape in a speech bubble all work together to convey the mission of Dyfference Makers as a group of people who truly care about helping children with dyslexia. We created variations of the logo to be used for an icon as well as vertical and horizontal orientations to maximize potential on print materials as well as web and social media.

We designed an e-book and business cards for Dyfference Makers marketing, these items follow the guidelines of their brand and keep them looking amazing as they promote their business. The ebook can be used online as a download with an opt-in from their website to help grow their email database.

The main goal of the Dyfference Maker’s website is to brand the nonprofit as a convenient, credible resource for parents of children who struggle with reading and writing. The call to action is to get parents to take the free assessment to see if the Dyfference Makers Academy is right for them.

The academy lives on the backend of the website and is password protected for those that sign up for their online teaching academy. The academy includes hundreds of training video modules for parents and students to watch and learn on their time. The website includes an e-commerce component to take donations and funds for those that sign up. The nonprofit is donating memberships to those in need for everyone that signs up.

D2 produced a personal brand story for Kent & Laken Gooch, founders of Dyfference Makers, to share their struggles with their dyslexic son, Stapleton, and how their mission in life is to help parents just like them who are struggling with dyslexia. This heart felt video captures the family dynamic and their willingness to help parents all over the world.

The main purpose of the Dyfference Makers presence on social media is to spread awareness regarding those with learning differences. D2 created Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts to allow for the largest audience possible. With consistent posting and engaging and educational content the D2 social media team is building a curated and engaged community while increasing awareness of the brand.
